Joe has joined the Isle of Wight Warriors as a replacement for the injured Benjii Compton. Full story can be found here: SpeedwayGB website

Joe is really pleased with the news: "I've been saying that I need to get more track time, and the call from Neil Vatcher at Isle of Wight came at just the right time.  I've signed for 28 days as cover for Benji and this fits in really well with my Belle Vue commitments.  I've ridden there a few times before and really like the track.  It is big and it is fast with long straights and banked corners and I'm looking forward to getting dialled in!  I've made no secret that I'm looking for a Premier League place alongside by Belle Vue team place and I'm hoping that getting some solid scores for the Warriors will give me some good exposure as well as keeping me race fit.  It's all down to averages but hopefully the right Premier League offer will come along soon.

My first meeting for Isle of Wight is on Thursday (19th May) at home to my old team Mildenhall and I'm really looking forward to it.  It's going to be a great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to a big score for the home fans.

I'd again like to thank Neil Vatcher for the opportunity to ride for Isle of Wight and the Belle Vue management for their ongoing support.  I'm really looking forward to doing my best for Isle of Wight team”.
